FESTIVITIES enjoyed by the 3rd Salisbury Brownie Pack included Jubilee games, baking sessions and testing their survival skills during a camping expedition at the county building in Berwick St James.
The Brownies were celebrating not only Her Majesty's reign but also their formation in the same year as the Queen was crowned at Westminster Abbey.
Originally named the 3rd Salisbury St Edmund's Brownie Pack, they are now known as the St Thomas's pack, still meeting regularly at the Hale Hall in Bedwin Street.
Brown Owl Sharon Emmins said: “It's great that for the past 60 years the group has been able to provide girls with a safe environment where they can chill out and make friends.”
