HUNDREDS of children from St Mark’s Pre-School, Wyndham Park Infant School, St Mark’s Junior School and Exeter House Special School, joined together to sing, dance and play patriotic games.
Ros Cuthbert-Brown of Exeter House who coordinated the party said: “Everyone was just so excited. They came in excited because they were all wearing red, white and blue and they were so proud to be wearing it.”
Wyndham Park headteacher Ali Smith added: “Each school has learnt a song over the last few weeks to teach the other schools.
“We had Reach for the Stars, Three Schools on a Hill and the National Anthem in sign language.”
Junior School pupil Finn Whakhan, 11, said: “I think the jubilee is a good event for our country, it’s impressive that the Queen has reigned for 60 years.”
