CHILDREN at Alderbury and West Grimstead Primary School had a very regal day as each pupil made a crown and then sat down to a picnic with Jubilee jelly.
Headteacher Alison Small said: “It was a wonderful occasion. The children made their own bunting and crowns and learnt the National Anthem.”
The jelly tasted even more special for one student, Ella Ball-Ingram, who ate it with a coronation spoon, bought by her grandmother when the Queen was crowned.
