BRITAIN’S Got Talent finalists Twist & Pulse are to perform at the Wiltshire 2012 Festival of Celebration at Hudson’s Field in July.

They will appear alongside Wretch 32 and local talent including City Stereo, These Days and the Shine 4 Wiltshire winners, Salisbury Plain Military Wives Choir at the event on July 11.

Twist & Pulse (Ashley Glazebrook and Glen Murphy) danced their way onto the ITV show in 2010nand narrowly missed walking away the winners in the live final.

The pair returned to the show this year, but this time with their own dance troupe Twist & Pulse Dance Company which saw them reach the semi finals.

Wiltshire Council leader Jane Scott said: “It’s great to see another big act sign up to perform at what will already be a fantastic event. With only weeks to go until the torch comes back into the county, the excitement is building.”

Details of the acts performing, and more information about the event, can be found at wiltshire.gov.uk/festivalofcelebration There will be a full range of catering suppliers and licensed bars at the event for people to buy food, soft drinks and alcoholic beverages.

But people will not be permitted to bring alcohol or glass bottles with them. Any alcohol or glass bottles found will be confiscated at the site entrances.

The festival is also set to include a business breakfast event involving more than 300 local businesses, as well as a workshop for schools, a sports programme, street performers, a fun fair and a farmers’ and craft market.
