CHRISTIAN charity Alabaré is holding an open day so people can learn more about its new project to help honey bees.
The Barford Honey Bee project aims to help people with lifelong learning disabilities through horticulture and woodwork, and give honey bees the chance of a healthy future at the same time.
It is being run at the charity’s Barford Training Centre in Dairy Road, Barford St Martin, and those taking part have been learning how to make top bar hives and create a honey bee friendly garden.
The open day is being held on July 28. To find out more contact the centre on 01722 742298.
