Information day aimed at over 50s

A FREE information day for the over 50s is being held at the Verwood Memorial Hall by the town’s Safer Neighbourhood Team today.

The day is designed to help residents understand what help and services are available to them, in areas including crime prevention, benefits and mobility scooters.

Sue Reynolds, community leader for the Partnership for Older People Programme (POPP), teams up with Neighbourhood Watch, Verwood Chamber of Trade, East Dorset District Council and Dorset Police for the event.
