A WHITEPARISH man is hosting a charity coffee morning in memory of his best friend’s mother.

Glen Jenvey, 47, is holding the event as part of Macmillan’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning at Whiteparish Village Hall on September 28 from 10am. Mr Jenvey supported his best friend, Graham Webb, and his mother Sylvia when she was diagnosed with cancer 10 years ago.

Mr Jenvey said: “Like many people in Salisbury, I can count loads of people affected by cancer so I’m holding a coffee morning to raise money for Macmillan.”

He is also encouraging other people to hold a coffee morning, by visiting macmillan.org.uk.

“This is a chance to support Macmillan and remember that special person you have lost to cancer or support families affected by cancer now,” said Mr Jenvey.
