CARNIVAL time in Salisbury is fast approaching, but people still have time to get involved.
The city council is asking for more people to come forward to take part in the event, on Friday, October 19.
A spokesman said: “The carnival is now a well established family favourite event. “Last year many more entries took part from the local community which created a wonderful spirit and buzz as it weaved its way through the city centre.
“If you are a local organisation, charity, business, performance group or indeed a family or individual and would like to take part in this year’s procession, the entry process is now open, and we would love to hear from you.”
Carnival application packs are available to download from salisburycarnival.co.uk , or call 01722 324860, email info@salisburycarnival.co.uk or pick up a pack from the Guildhall reception.
Deadline for applications is Monday, October 1.
