BLIND canoeing and sitting volleyball were just two of the challenges involved in an alternative sporting event testing the skills of Guides.
Groups from the Guide and Ranger units in Downton , Salisbury and Tidworth were among a 400-strong crowd from the south west who enjoyed an adventurous weekend at a campsite near Lyndhurst.
In addition to three-legged races, water polo and space hopper relays, they also took part in bushcraft workshops, used a zipwire to fly through the trees and searched the 65-acre site for hidden bases containing one of the five Olympic rings.
Event organiser and Guider Harriet Reay said: "It's been a fantastic weekend, bringing together girls from across the south west to work with each other, having fun while sharing skills and knowledge in a relaxed all girl environment.”
