A FATHER and son team who organised the Help for Heroes rally have handed over a cheque for almost £200,000 at Tedworth House in Tidworth.
Keith Bowen, 63, and his son Tim, 37, organised the 4x4 European Rally, which saw 42 teams travel 2,011 miles through seven countries in June.
The teams visited sites associated with the first and second world wars and the Menin Gate in Ypres, where children taking part in the rally laid a wreath.
Keith and Tim, from Camberley, went to Tedworth House on Wednesday to present a cheque for £192,341.
They were joined by Allan and Jan Creedy, the top fundraisers for the event, who raised £33,000, and event winners Dave and Dawn Shaw.
