Call 101 to contact police

WILTSHIRE Police are reminding the county’s residents about the 101 number that they can call to contact the force.

The 101 number was launched across all UK police forces last year and is a way for people to report non-urgent crimes or antisocial behaviour, give information about a crime and make general inquiries.

It is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and connects callers with their local force.

If a caller is on a boundary between two or more forces, a recorded message will give them a choice of which force to be connected to.
