Birthday celebrations for walking group
A WEEKLY walking group in Amesbury has celebrated its first anniversary.
The group was set up as part of Wiltshire Council ’s Get Wiltshire Walking Big Lottery-funded project and it now has 25 to 35 walkers.
To mark its success, the group’s walk last week was led by trained volunteer walk leader Elaine Corner, and afterwards they enjoyed coffee and a special birthday cake.
