POLICE are appealing for information after five pairs of sunglasses and a pair of glasses were stolen from Vision Express in Salisbury.

A man entered the store in Butcher Row at about 12.55pm and selected the Oakley and Tag Heuer glasses. It is thought that he then hid them in his jacket and left the store without making any attempt to pay for the items.

Police have released a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the incident.

Anyone with information about the incident or the identity of the man pictured is asked to call PC Lyndsey Brewis on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.

Why is this a printed news story? Does the Salisbury Journal not have the ability to provide more important and interesting news? Do their reporters not have the intelligence to provide better stories? Please!
