Gearing up for the Chalke Valley Challenge
RUNNERS are invited to slip on their running shoes for this year’s annual Chalke Valley challenge.
More than 300 people are preparing to head through Broad Chalke and Bowerchalke in the challenge, on Sunday, October 14.
Competitors have a choice of running in a 3k or 10k race, all to raise money for Broad Chalke Primary School.
Headteacher Margaret Pearson said: “We usually have very enthusiastic children participating and plenty of their friends and families too.
“There’s always a great turn out from the local community.”
