Home ransacked while in hospital

A COUPLE who were assaulted in Fordingbridge, with the woman being knocked unconscious, returned home after being treated in hospital to find their home smashed up.
The woman, 32, was attacked outside the Butler’s Bar and Grill on the corner of Provost Street on Saturday night.
Her male companion, aged 42, suffered cuts and bruises to his face and legs after being attacked by the same assailant.
The couple were treated in Salisbury District Hospital and released the next morning, but on returning home they found their house had been broken into and items smashed up. A Range Rover outside had been scratched.
