THREE pharmacists are hoping for a repeat prescription in success bas they open a second shop in Fordingbridge.
The new Fordingbridge Pharmacy will be opening long hours to serve the people of the area.
The pharmacy in Bridge Street will be opening from 7.30am to 10.30pm Monday to Saturday and 9am to 7pm on Sundays from this Monday.
One of the owners, pharmacist Zulfikar Kermali, 27, said: “We have spent 18 months planning the pharmacy, which we hope will open up choice for people.
Mr Kermali and his partners Sarfaraz Juma, 24, and Shaiq Mulla, 29, are all from Fareham and have run a pharmacy there for four years.
“Our unique point is that we have regular pharmacists who know people by name – it creates such a nice relationship with the patients,” he said.
The new pharmacy will offer a range of services including smoking cessation, cholesterol, medicine and health checks and con traception, as well as dispensing NHS and private prescriptions.
There is a consultation room, and a delivery service and prescription pick up from doctors will also be offered.
Mr Kermali added: “We went to the Fordingbridge Festival and got very positive feedback – lots of people are waiting for us to open.”
