BUS firm Stagecoach donated all fares received between Tidworth and Ludgershall bus stops to Help for Heroes, raising £1072.
The company, which operates six buses on the Activ8 service between Salisbury and Andover handed over £1,072 to the charity, including £46 donated through collection tins placed by ticket machines.
On Saturday 22 September Stagecoach, who operate 6 buses on the Activ8 service between Salisbury and Andover, offered to donate all fares received at Tidworth and Ludgershall bus stops to support Tedworth House, Help For Heroes’ Recovery Centre. The sum raised was £1072.94, including £46 made in donations in collection tins placed by the ticket machines.
“We were delighted with the response from all of our Activ8 customers who contributed to the fundraising initiative,” said Stagecoach operations manager Pete Robinson.
