Apple Day in Salisbury

AN Apple Day celebration is being held at a community orchard in Salisbury on Sunday.
The event, organised by the city council, will give people the chance to take a look at the orchard as well as take part in a range of activities between 10am to 12.30pm at Fisherton Recreation Ground.
Parks assistant Polly Mason said: “We’re really excited about celebrating our new community orchards. The apple day event is free with lovely activities for all ages to take part in.”
Local artist Charlotte Moreton will be there helping visitors create labels for the trees at both Fisherton and Bishopdown community orchards.
