Chess champ takes on 14 opponents
SALISBURY Chess Club champion Bob Lynn took on 14 players in three hours of simultaneous games.
The event took place at the Cycle & Social Club, Salt Lane on Thursday evening and Mr Lynn beat nine opponents.
He drew against Michael Pope and Ted Topper and lost against Graeme Ford, Chris Kenward and Dick Wardell.
Mr Kenward said: “It was a brilliant evening and everybody thoroughly enjoyed themselves, even the people who lost.”
