Wilton FC in their new kit.
A LOCAL football team has received a financial boost from a national phone, broadband and mobile provider.
TalkTalk are sponsoring Wilton FC for the next 12 months and the money will go towards maintaining the equipment and grounds at the club.
The company is also investing £50,000 in technology to bring best value broadband offers to Wilton, expanding its Next Generation network.
Wilton FC has worked hard to raise its profile since relaunching in 2008 and now has two teams and a new website. The club prides itself of bringing together all kinds of people from the local community and wants to expand further.
Sue Nelmes, secretary at the club, said: “We are delighted that TalkTalk is supporting Wilton FC over the coming year. With its support we will be able to maintain and improve facilities and equipment at the club.”
TalkTalk’s commercial director Tristia Clarke said: “Investing in the local area allows us to bring our great value offers to even more families in the area and we are proud to be supporting Wilton FC. They are in the heart of the community and we wish them every success with their endeavours both on and off the field over the coming months.”
