The Arval fuel card was used 54 times to obtain fuel illegally between August 1 and October 26 last year.

It is estimated that the amount of fuel obtained from using the card amounts to more than £4,000.

Offenders have filled up several vehicles, including a number of Ford Transit vans, as well as jerry cans. Police have released several CCTV images of motorists they would like to speak to in connection with the incidents.

The registration numbers of the vans are BD04 WHU, NM07 TOH and SC09 MKM.
