Teens arrested after man attacked in Ludgershall

THREE teenagers have been arrested on suspicion of causing actual bodily harm after a man was attacked in Ludgershall.

The incident took place just before 8pm on October 14 on the pathway linking Andover Road and Empress Way.

The victim spotted several youths on the Co-Op roof and shouted at them to get off as he was concerned they might injure themselves.

He then tried to restrain one of the youths to stop him going back up on the roof but three other youths pulled him to the ground and kicked and punched him to the head before running off.

The victim was left with two swollen eyes, cuts and bruising, and he required hospital treatment.

Two 15-year-old boys and one 16-year-old boy were arrested on suspicion of causing actual bodily harm and have been released on police bail pending further inquiries.

Wiltshire Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to contact them on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.

Sorry but the police, the housing associations, the local council, and the county council have all been approached several times about these thugs hanging around intimidating people in the shopping area car parks, gangways and roofs. They have openly made serious threats of violence in the recent past and they have implemented no go areas. They block shop gangways in large groups smoking and intimidating people. The police are aware of this, they drive past and watch but they fail to gather enough evidence to ever do anything about it. It is time these authorities did their jobs and started protecting the public from thugs like these!
