Salisbury Musical Society - The Chelsea Opera Group Orchestra conducted by David Halls, perform J S Bach Christmas Oratorio on Saturday December 8 at 7.30pm. Tickets from Salisbury Playhouse (01722) 320333 or at the door.
Voice Trials - A voice trials workshop for prospective candidates for the Cathedral Choir will be held on Saturday December 8 at 11.00am - 12.00pm at Salisbury Cathedral School.
This workshop will help teach prospective candidates how best to prepare for the next voice trials which are on Saturday January 26 (boys) and Saturday February 9 (girls) for children currently in school Years 3 and 4 to join the Cathedral Choir. For details please call (01722) 555148.
Messiah - David Halls, Director of Music at Salisbury Cathedral, conducts Salisbury Cathedral Choir and Sarum Orchestra in a performance of Handel's great oratorio Messiah in the Cathedral on Friday December 14 at 7.30pm. Tickets (£10.00 - £18.00) are available from Salisbury Playhouse Box Office on (01722) 320333, and at the door. The concert is in aid of Salisbury Cathedral Choral Foundation.
Epiphany Procession - This service on Sunday January 13 at 7.00pm combines words and music, movement and stillness to show how Christ's glory is revealed in the visit of the Magi and through his first miracles. No tickets are required.
