Goodbye and hello!
Lt Col Mike Gallagher, Assistant Secretary of the Friends of Salisbury Cathedral, will have handed over the reins to his successor, Mrs Lizzie Rowe, at the end of April.
I'm sure we would all like to take this opportunity to thank him for his hard work, cheerfulness and excellent support over the past three years, and send him and his wife Susan all best wishes for the future.
We are delighted that Lizzie has joined the office as Assistant Secretary. Some of you may already know Lizzie as she helps with Salisbury Cathedral Junior Choir.
She is married with two children at the Cathedral School, lives with her family in Hanging Langford, and has previously worked for the Countryside Alliance and Strutt & Parker.
We hope that Lizzie will enjoy working for the Friends - she will be in the office two days a week and all are welcome to pop in to meet her!
