Never fear, Chris is here!
On Saturday, March 29, hundreds of brave teddies parachuted from a raised platform manned by members of Salisbury Fire Brigade's Red Watch by the Cathedral's West Front for the Mayor's Appeal.
Unfortunately, one teddy, Chocy, ended up trapped in a tree.
This left a very worried owner until Monday when Head Verger Chris Simpson came to the rescue and managed to retrieve Chocy with a 10metre long duster with hoover pipes attached!
£5,000 was raised to provide specialist equipment for Sarum Children's Ward.
