SALISBURY Hospice provides essential support for local people approaching the end of their lives. We focus on sustaining quality of life, providing symptom control and supporting families. We know that our service makes a real difference from the transformation we see in the people we care for, and from the positive feedback we get from patients and families.

Our service provides hospice inpatient beds, a specialist community service supporting patients in their own homes and in care homes, a specialist team supporting patients in Salisbury District Hospital, a day centre, a bereavement service and an education team.

Through these services our support reaches thousands of people. We are hugely proud of our exceptionally dedicated multi-professional team, and how hard they work to provide high quality care.

We depend on charitable funding to keep these services running. Each year Salisbury Hospice Charity contributes £1.1 million to the overall running costs of £2.4 million. Costs have risen over recent years causing the charity to draw on its emergency reserves to meet these.

Please help us by supporting Salisbury Hospice.

The following pages give an insight into some of the work of Salisbury Hospice and its teams, showing just how far into the community support extends. We have included quotes from patients and their families that really do show how important our services can be for people at their time of need.
