AN extreme endurance athlete ran 315km non-stop to raise money for the Trussell Trust.
Alexandra Panayotou set off on the solo run from Salisbury’s Cathedral Close and, 50 hours and 19 minutes later, arrived at Norwich City Footbal Club’s Carrow Road Stadium.
She was greeted by a crowd of 26,000 people, NCFC directors, Trussell Trust representatives, her brother and her team.
The Barcelona-based athlete took on the run as part of three solo running challenges supporting the Trussell Trust foodbank network which she will complete over the next nine months.
