Jill raises £1,000 in year as president
FACE the Future, the charity that offers goody bags and skin-care and make-up workshops to women having cancer treatment at Salisbury District Hospital, is one of the charities Jill Clark, ladies’ captain at High Post Golf Club, chose to support during her term of office.
The other charity, which also received a cheque for £500, was Hope and Homes for Children’s Harry’s Homes projects in Sudan.
Donations, entry fees for tournaments and well supported raffles meant more than £1,000 was raised during Mrs Clark’s year as captain.
