THE Onward Stroke Club celebrated its 10th birthday with a party at the Scout Hall in Stratford Road on Thursday.
The Mayor of Salisbury, Penny Brown, was the guest of honour, and members were also joined by Judy Cronan and Emma Heard from Salisbury District Hospital.
There was a celebration cake for all to enjoy, and entertainments from ‘Elvis’.
The club provides a social setting for people whose communication skills have been affected by a stroke and to help them recover and to reintegrate.
