WINTERBOURNE Opera entertained a full house at the Glebe Hall, Winterbourne Earls on Saturday for an Evening at Raffles set in the 1920s and 30s.

Noel Coward and Ivor Novello songs featured, along with many favourites of the era.

The cast dressed up in character for an evening in the Long Bar.

Winterbourne Opera’s next event is their production of Donizetti’s The Elixir of Love in the Cattle Ring at Salisbury Market. Tickets go on sale at the Playhouse on May 1.

Ben Occhipinti will be setting it in a holiday camp in the early 1960s so audiences can look forward to the colourful comic possibilities when Hi-de-Hi! meets opera.
