THE management committee of the Laverstock and Ford Village Hall held their AGM in April.
The chairman, Mr Marriner, welcomed all present and thanked the committee on the successful running of the hall.
Mr Lambert, the treasurer, said finances were sound and the committee had been able to buy more tables.
Outstanding maintenance by the caretaker keeps the hall in excellent condition and bookings are steady. Mr Curtis offered to take over the post of secretary on the retirement of Mr Haldane, who will remain on the committee.
The committee were also congratulated on the running of the hall by Laverstock and Ford parish councillor David Law, who attended the meeting.
