THERE is a new opportunity to play croquet at Victoria Park.
Following discussions with Salisbury Victoria Bowls Club it has been agreed that bowls and croquet will share facilities.
Several bowls clubs now share their lawns and facilities with croquet clubs and the feedback is that the two sports can coexist and support each other. Croquet at Victoria Park is now available on Sundays and Wednesdays.
Players can choose either golf or association croquet. No special clothing is required except soft flat shoes or trainers. Initially, there will be a pay as you play scheme.
