DURRINGTON WI celebrated its 90th anniversary in style on the afternoon of Saturday, June 21 by holding a tea party for members and guests at Durrington Village Hall.
One of our guests was Isobel Acott, the Wiltshire Federation chairman.
Other guests included members of other WIs and past members of Durrington WI.
We were entertained by Vintage Echoes, who were excellent and played many 1960 tunes, which we all enjoyed - some of us even got up to dance.
Members made a variety of cakes for the tea and Joan Havard made two beautifully decorated anniversary cakes which were cut on the day.
The day was made complete by a peel of bells at Durrington church at 6pm.
Quite a few members went down to the church to listen to them.
