HANDWRITING reveals an individual’s personality and what makes them tick, graphologist John Jameson-Davis told Salisbury branch of Wiltshire Family History Society.
Drawing on examples including Diane Princess of Wales, William Hague and Myra Hindley, Mr Jameson-Davis highlighted some of the characteristics in writing – such as whether letters are upright or leaning – and what they can reveal.
He pointed out that understanding the principles could help family historians to get a broader picture to add to facts they knew about their ancestors.
On August 20 branch members will be enjoying a guided walk in Salisbury.
