- A VACANCY has arisen due to the resignation of Anne Baker. Please contact the parish clerk or a councillor for further information on joining the parish council.
- Congratulations! Whiteparish has come first in its category in the first round of this year’s Best Kept Village Competition. Comments from the judges include: “The private gardens in the village were generally well cared for and there was very little sign of litter there or in the public spaces” and “Judges were impressed by the feel of the village, the community activities for all ages, and the generally high standard of care and congratulate all those who help to make Whiteparish such an attractive place.”
- Whiteparish Youth Group: It was agreed to give financial assistance to Whiteparish Youth Group for the purchase of a new pool table and equipment to make a noticeboard for use in the Memorial Centre.
Financial assistance will also go to the PCC towards tree surgery in the churchyard.
- THE next meeting will be on Thursday September 4 2014 at 7.30pm. Villagers are invited to attend the meetings. Please inform the clerk, Maria Pennington (01722 711858) if you wish to raise any village matter.
