The Salisbury Bonsai Society’s last meeting was about accent planting by Rita and Mark Cooper.
With the help of slides, we had an interesting talk on this method, the different plants to use and their care.
After refreshments it was hands on! Members were encouraged to make their own accent planting with pots and various plants supplied by Clive Knight and Rita Cooper.
We were all pleased with the varied accent plantings we produced.
Our next meeting is on Monday, September 1 in Laverstock village hall at 7.45pm and will be a tree carving workshop.
So bring along your trees and we will help you carve out that special feature to improve and age your bonsai.
