AT their well-attended July meeting, members were treated to a lively and amusing talk called Ladies of the Tower, given by Tony Strafford, a former Yeoman Warder at the Tower of London, who arrived resplendent in his Beefeater attire.
This month’s talk is entitled Battlefield Tours - a different form of Remembrance and will be given by Colonel Christopher Newbould CBE.
The meeting is on Monday, September 15 at 7.30pm in Wilton Community Centre.
The Wilton Historical Society meets every two months on the third Monday of the month and non-members are very welcome.
Light refreshments are available.
