NEARLY 100 guests attended Question Time in the Woolstore Theatre at Codford last Friday night to raise funds for ABF The Soldiers’ Charity.
The panel – MP Andrew Murrison, the Journal’s military correspondent David Falcke, county commissioner of Scouts Olwen Brockway, Bishop Ed Condry and Major Kate Philp, an amputee who walked with Prince Harry in the Antarctic – engaged in a lively debate with questions ranging from ‘Why do people become MPs? What future for the NHS? Should smoking be banned?' and 'What do we do about children glued to their mobile devices?’
During the evening there was an auction of a painting by Scottish artist Kate Phelps and almost £900 was raised for ABF The Soldiers’ Charity.
