SALISBURY-based flower arranger Michael Bowyer MBE entertained 162 ladies with a wonderful demonstration of floral art, magically blended with music, in Codford Village Hall on a grey, cold January morning.
Hosted by the Warminster branch of the NSPCC, the audience had a glimpse of spring, enjoyed a light buffet lunch and raffle ticket winners took the beautiful arrangements home.
Michael does one charity event a year and the committee was extremely grateful for the amount raised – £2,602.
The NSPCC committee was pleased to see familiar and regular supporters and a number of new faces, due to local and national press releases.
Michael will be leading the team of flower arrangers, now more than 400 strong, for the Cathedral Magna Flower Festival in September.
