ON Friday, February 13, the 59 Bridge Club held its annual general meeting with 42 members present.
On behalf of the members, Iris and Tony Adams were presented with a framed memento by chairman David Hands in recognition of their contribution to the club over many years.
They were also granted life membership of the club.
Annual awards were presented to Sue Hands, Georgina Dalton and Susan Barden.
We then played Duplicate, the winners being: n N/S - Gabby Russell and Graham Hubber n E/W - Sonia Blandy and Brian Johnson The club meets at the Royal British Legion, Endless Street (opposite the Old Bus Station).
We Play Duplicate every Friday at 7pm – plus Partner Drives first and third Monday at 7pm.
