Wilton Historical Society
THE society’s 2015 programme continues on Monday, March 16 at 7.30pm in the Wilton Community Centre with a talk by Nick Griffiths entitled Roman Villas.
Nick will be looking at the origins of villas, examples from various areas and what exactly constitutes a villa; he will also cover mosaics and the decoration of Romano-British villas, and something of the owners.
The Wilton Historical Society meets every two months on the third Monday of the month and non-members are very welcome. Light refreshments are available.
