A JUBILEE Jamboree at Shrewton Primary School kicked off a weekend of celebration for the village.
The event included ferret racing, a live band and a coconut shy among its attractions.
Headteacher Mark Bartlett said: “We had a fantastic day, we had people from the whole village come by which was lovely as we like to be part of the community.”
Funds raised from the jubilee are going towards a wildlife pond for the children which will form the start of a sensory garden project at the school.
Other events over the weekend included a carnival procession with a Diamond Jubilee princess, a scarecrow trail celebrating 60 years of music and the lighting of a jubilee beacon.
