CUSHIONS, cakes and book bags have been made at St Edmund’s School to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee.
Staff and students have been celebrating the occasion with a series of events and competitions over the last few weeks.
The Jubilee cushion competition was launched by the technology department and it attracted more than 40 entries.
A range of red, white and blue cupcakes and Union Jack sponges were presented by students in all year groups.
Year 10 textiles students made canvas book bags while girls in Year 7 and 8 history classes are completing individual learning tasks connected to the Jubilee over the school holiday.
On Friday, staff and students came to school dressed in red, white and blue to raise money for charity and a grand Jubilee picnic was held on the school field.
