A NEW discount card, exclusively for members of the armed forces, their families and veterans, has been introduced More than 50 high street companies and businesses have pledged generous discounts to show their support for the armed forces community through the Defence Discount Service.

The new Defence Privilege Card, which people can sign up for online, means the armed forces community will get exclusive discounts from participating stores across the country. This new card will provide money off items ranging from children’s toys and winter knitwear to mobile phones and even food shopping.

Discounts include 10 per cent off all groceries at Iceland; 20 per cent off phone contracts at Vodafone; 20 per cent off tickets at Vue Cinemas; an introductory 20 per cent followed by 15 per cent off everything in store at Austin Reed and 10 per cent off at KFC.
