AIMEE West, the fiancée of Drummer Lee Rigby, who was tragically killed outside Woolwich Barracks in May 2013, has set up a fund in memory of Lee with all donations coming to SSAFA.

Miss West and members of Drummer Rigby’s family have received invaluable support from SSAFA through the Bereaved Families Support Group, and so she is keen to make sure that something positive comes out of this terrible tragedy by giving something back to SSAFA.

SSAFA have been working with The Sun, which has agreed to launch the Lee Rigby Fund as part of an interview with her.

The paper has also agreed to make a £15,000 donation to SSAFA’s Lee Rigby Fund to get the campaign off to a good start.

To donate go to ssafa.org.uk/leerigbyfund, text RIGB87 £5 (or £7 or £10) to 70070, or call 0844 249 2363.
