4th Mechanised Brigade will finish their pre- Afghanistan Ex PASHTUN DAWN and large convoys of vehicles will leave Salisbury Plain on the afternoon and evening of Sunday, September 2 and throughout the day on Monday, September 3.
Some disruption may be caused to civilian traffic at tank crossings across the Plain and on the A303, A360, A345, A338, A3026 and Chitterne/Tilshead roads.
The remainder of the month of September will see very low levels of training across all areas.
Imber Ranges: The public are excluded except when the roads are specifically opened.
It is planned to open roads through Imber from 6pm on September 28 until 6pm on September 30. St Giles’s Day is celebrated each year with a church service in Imber.
Due to essential road works, the road from Imber to Joan a Gore Cross will not be open.
