Precious books stolen in burglary

A SAFE, precious books, money and a Blu-ray player were stolen in a burglary at Old Dairy Close, Salisbury.
The break-in happened between 11.30am and 6pm on Friday, January 4 when thieves forced entry to the property and took the Sony Blu-ray player and grey safe containing three books and cash.
The books are of great sentimental value to the victim. Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Jem Horner of the priority crime team, Salisbury on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
