Bishops students in final of science competition
10:50am Monday 11th February 2013 in Headlines By Journal Reporter
FOUR students from Bishop Wordsworth’s School in Salisbury have won a place in the final of the National Science and Engineering Competition.
Zayd Husseini-Eyre, Louis McBride, Jack Templeman and Alex Chater wowed the judges of the competition with their bicycle kinetic energy recovery system (BiKERS). They will now go head to head with students from across the country to try to claim one of the UK’s most prestigious science and engineering honours for young people.
Their entry will be presented to more than 60,000 people at The Big Bang UK Young Scientists and Engineers Fair in London next month.
