DOG lovers can share the puppy love at an event being held at Dogs Trust Salisbury at the weekend.

The trust is inviting people to come along and find out more about the work done at the centre as well gain an insight into the charity’s history, local events and activities.

Refreshments will be available at the event and all who attend will receive a free ‘doggy’ bag along with free entry into a prize draw which will take place on the day.

Jo Blake, supporter relations officer at Dogs Trust Salisbury said: “While many people understand that Dogs Trust works to promote responsible dog ownership as well as rehoming unwanted and abandoned dogs, there are many other aspects to our work.

“We take our commitment to the community very seriously, and we are always finding ways to support local people in a variety of situations, from dog owners seeking rented accommodation to those suffering domestic abuse.

“We hope people in the area who are crazy about canines, will join us for this fun and informative event to learn about the work that we do.”

The event will run from 1pm to 3pm on Sunday.
