Zumbathon for Cats Protection

SALISBURY Cats Protection is holding its first Zumbathon.

The charity is inviting people to come along for two hours of Zumba to help them get fit while raising funds for felines.

Instructors from Girls Love Fit will lead the Zumba from 11am to 1pm on March 23 at St Michael’s Community Centre in Bemerton Heath, but the event will run from 10.30am to 1.30pm and there will also be a raffle, a good quality clothes sale, cakes and produce for sale, refreshments and mini manicures from local beauty company UR Harmony.

Fundraising co-ordinator Ali Theobald said: “This is the first time Salisbury Cats Protection have put on an event of this size. We are really hoping it will be a success and hope lots of local people will come out and support us.”

Tickets are £7 in advance on 01722 415880 and children are welcome if accompanied by an adult at a cost of £3.50. Tickets will be £8 on the day.
